Day One – Arrival in London

Transfer from London Airport to hotel. The rest of the day is free in London.

Day Two – Total London Experience

A chance to get the full London experience. On this tour we will take part in the following activities:

  • Panoramic tour of London
  • See the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace
  • Exclusive visit to the Household Cavalry Museum
  • Optional Lunch by the River Thames
  • Entry to Tower of London
  • Entry to St. Paul’s Cathedral 
  • Thames River boat ride
  • Spectacular experience on the London Eye
  • Walking Tour

Day Three – London at Leisure

A day to take in London as you like it. In the evening we will take in a West End Show.

Day Four – Blenheim Palace & Oxford

We start the day by travelling North West as we make our way to Blenheim Palace, built in 1704 for the First Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and one of England’s finest Stately Homes. Then back to Oxford to see the magnificent ‘Dreaming Spires’ and much more.

Dinner and an overnight hotel stay in Oxfordshire.

Day Five – A Shakespearean day in Stratford upon Avon

Head north to travel through part of the beautiful Cotswolds as we make our way to Stratford upon Avon, renowned as the birthplace of the famous English playwright William Shakespeare. We will visit his birthplace and have lots of free time to explore and see all the Shakespearean sights.

Dinner and overnight in the "Heart of England".

Day Six – Warwick and Chester

Only a short drive today to see one of the most memorable sights on any English tour - Warwick and its magnificent medieval castle. In the afternoon we travel North to the 2000-year-old Roman city of Chester, taking in the wonderful English Wedgewood Centre on the way. This still leaves plenty of free time to explore one of the most beautiful English Cities.

Dinner and overnight in Chester.

Day Seven – The Lake District and York

A lot to see today and an early start is needed. We tour north today into English Lakeland by the shortest route to give us as much time as possible for sightseeing and to soak up the scenery and splendour of England’s Lake District. After, we head to the Victorian resort of Windermere and see Great Britain’s most famous National Park, travelling through Ambleside to Rydal and Grasmere, the area that so inspired William Wordsworth, we build in some free time to explore.

We then travel across the Yorkshire Moors through charming villages and ending the day in York with its glorious minster and medieval town.  

Overnight in the York area with dinner.

Day Eight – Discover York

Unrivalled in Britain for its magical charm and beauty, this walled city on the River Ouse was the northern capital in Roman times. We will take you all round the ancient city, including the famous medieval street, the Shambles.

We will visit York Minster, a massive gothic cathedral with outstanding stained glass windows, and the Jorvik Viking Centre.  Discover the Viking streets and people of over 1000 years ago, accurately reconstructed, on the actual site of the ‘Viking Dig', from which there are over 800 artefacts on display.

Overnight in the York area with dinner.

Day Nine – Cambridge and Back to London

South today, to the University City of Cambridge with lots of free time to relax and explore this famous and fascinating city. Then on to Greenwich to see the Time-line and a visit to the Maritime Museum.

Day Ten – Windsor

To Windsor today, visiting its world famous castle, one of the finest castles in England and still used today by Her Majesty. A walk over the bridge to explore Eaton and a visit to Runnymede,  the place where the Magna Carta was signed by King John .

Overnight in London or Heathrow (depending on tomorrow`s departure time) and dinner.

Day Eleven – Departure from London

Transfer from hotel to airport for trip home.
